Large selection, very tasty pizza and friendly service!

We found the place through search engines because we were looking for a restaurant where four-legged friends are also welcome. Ambience: very manageable, but it has a charming design, which makes you feel right at home Staff: super friendly and easy to find Food: we had pasta and pizza, but we can only agree that the pizzas are delicious and the pasta can also compete.

The food is excellent and the service is unbeatable!

Over an hour waiting time !!! Pure hectic, delivery service is given priority, as are customers who came far later than us. The food wasn't really sparkling, I won't be visiting again.

The pizzas are sometimes good, but you get your meal in 40 minutes. The waitress didn't even apologize for the delay, just replied cheekily.

3-stars=average. It’s good Italian food, but far from phenomenal. The service is slow, 2-3 staffers for indoor and outdoors. I may come back for a cozy double date, but will never crave this place.

Man, this place is pretty amazing. If someone tells you to meet them in an Italian place that's under a tattoo parlor, DO IT! This place is really good. I've had the pizza (a few different kinds), the lasagna special, and the tomato soup. They are all very tasty and are a great value for the price. If there was one thing that I would change is the lack of cell signal in the restaurant. And there is no free WiFi either. I wouldn't care much about this if I wasnt on travel most times I come here so I am usually eating alone. Would be great to have service to read the news.

The restaurant is hidden in a side street and you go down to the basement. Inconspicuous from the outside, but wonderful inside. Not overheated despite the basement, good air and, above all, very tasty food. We had pizza and wild boar ragout and highly recommend this. Brisk and friendly service included. We can definitely go back!

Extremely disappointed. I was told by so many people that this place was "the place" to go for authentic Italian food. We've spent several vacations in Napoli, Capri and recently Roma and the food at this restaurant was bland. The tomatoes on the bruschetta tasted like they were from a can. My husband's dish with mussels had tons of broken bits of mussel shells throughout it. My toninelli bolognese had minimal meat, soupy and just bland. Not sure if we will return. The only positive thing was that our waiter was prompt, courteous and a true professional.

Were by chance in Amberg and wanted to finish eating something. We decided after a short search for this place. The trattoria was very well visited, but we still managed to get a place outdoors. The food was visually very good and tasted excellent. Day ticket available. Very friendly service. There were also many meals picked up, which possibly led to a longer wait.

A very delicious pizza in the normal price range. A nice cellar bar, very comfortable. The order was in less than 10min on the table, very commendable. In addition one must say however that on this day not very much was, nevertheless the speed impressed us very much. I was particularly impressed by the pizza base, with the typical stone oven taste. Conclusion: very recommendable

Perfect place for a quiet date night or a dinner with friends. The atmosphere is truly rustic, and the restaurant itself actually lives up to being a "trattoria" which is a nice touch. The food and staff are wonderful, I've never had an unpleasant experience here.

At the Moment one of the best italian Restaurants in town. Nice, cosy location, good pizza and pasta.

Great place! My food was so good and I actually ate the entire thing! The service was good and the atmosphere is really cozy. We sat at a bench at the bar and could really enjoy the place. It was a full house but we still had our meals in a timely manner. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Lobe this place the food is Great.the location is close to the musical theatre. You can walk the states of Amberg as well.

Great food, slow service but it was a full night. If you want to dash and dine this is not the place for you. If you want great food that you wait on then eat here.

Small restaurant located in the cellar of an old building with more charm that you could believe. The food is excellent, with a great pizza and pasta selection for the family. And the small size and cozy décor make it the prefect place to relax, and the staff speaks English, Italian and German. So you should not have a problem ordering, no matter wherever you are from.

Trattoria has great pizza! Their prices are good and the atmosphere is great. German, English, and Italian are all spoken here. This restaurant is good for groups when they aren't too busy.

Fair price and cozy.

Excellent food! Shared a pizza with my wife & we almost didn't finish it. Drinks & all we only spent €14. obviously the seafood & steaks are more expensive, but everything else is €4-10; drinks €2.50+. To be so small & located around other restaurants it was packed. We'll be making reservations next time, but there's a reason Trip Advisor lists them as Amberg's best restaurant!
